Dr. Percival Ricketts, LMHC, NCC, NBCCH, DCMHS.

Dr. Percival Ricketts is a Psychotherapist, National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Parenting/Divorce consultant and a Diplomate of The American Mental Health Counselors Association, who has been in private practice in Pembroke Pines, Florida for over 25 years. He is an alumnus of Virginia Tech, Nova Southeastern University and Argosy University, with a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Ricketts enjoys working with parents, counseling individuals, couples and families of diverse backgrounds, teaching, and supervising counseling interns. He is the author of several books on a wide variety of topics and he is the developer of the “Parenting for Separated & Divorcing Moms & Dads” curriculum. This curriculum, is a 4-hour, parenting education and family stabilization program that is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families. Divorcing parents with minor children and those who are involved in paternity cases in the state of Florida must complete this type of program before their legal actions can be finalized in the courts. Dr. Ricketts speaks Spanish with advanced fluency and he maintains active memberships with numerous local, national and international counseling-related and other organizations.
